Highlight Key Points in Headings, Bold Text, and Call-Outs

Email users don't "read"; they "skim." As a result, all of your key points should be summarized by the headline and highlighted by subheadings, bolding, and call-outs (such as starbursts).

If written correctly, an email skimmer should be able to understand all of your key points just by reading the large, bold, and emphasized text.

Similarly, front-end load your most convincing arguments in the first couple of paragraphs, so that all of your key points, and call-to-action, are visible without scrolling.
