Offer Free Content to Your Publishers
Make it easier for Publishers to feature your cause by providing free content that can be posted "as is," or modified at their discretion.
Gratefully-received free content includes:
- Articles: Intriguing articles that are optimized for search engines, 300-800 words in length, are a favorite among Publishers. Encourage Publishers to customize the articles for their audience.
- e-Courses: Newsletter Publishers may be interested in sending your e-course material (embedded with their Affiliate link) to their mailing list subscribers. The more lessons your e-course has, the more chances your Publisher gets at earning a commission.
- "ViralBait": Offer an eBook, cartoon, tool, game, screensaver, or other "ViralBait" that is so provocative that the Publisher's readers will choose to pass it on to their friends. The ViralBait should always contain a link, encoded with the Affiliate's identifier, so that the right Publisher gets credit for completed calls-to-action. If done well, ViralBait can circulate on the web for years.
- Testimonials: Photo and video testimonials can increase response rates by as much as 30%.
- Coupons: Offer unique coupon codes to your Publishers so that their readers get a discount on your advocacy ware (e.g., eBooks, t-shirts, hats, bags, mouse pads, bumper stickers).
